An insight into the life of Charles Darwen will be given during a talk in Wisbech library next month.
Sally Stafford, from the Darwen Correspondence Project at Cambridge University, will be speaking about the letters Darwen wrote home during his voyages on Thursday, July 26, from 10.30am to noon.
The talk will be followed by free tea and biscuits.
Author Evie Wyld will also be visiting the library on Monday, July 9, from 7pm. The event cost £2.
Readers will get the chance to listen to readings, ask the writer questions and get their books signed.The visit is part of the adult summer reading challenge.
