Lest we forget

Remembrance parade and wreath laying in Chatteris

Remembrance parade and wreath laying in Chatteris

People turned out in their hundreds yesterday (Sunday) to remember those who fought to protect our country and those brave soldiers who are still fighting today.

Quiet fell across towns and villages as people observed the two-minutes silence.

We have put together galleries of pictures from the three Fenland market towns – see to the right of this page.

See Wednesday’s Citizen for more pictures and a round-up of the Wisbech, March and Chatteris remembrance events.
