Music from the First World War era was performed during a commemorative concert.
More than 100 people supported the event at Manea Royal British Legion Club.
It was organised by Ursula and Keith Berry, Ken and Patricia Risbridger and Angela Mattox.
Manea Silver Band, Tom Kennedy, Ernie Cave and Pam Hawes delighted the audience with their performances.
The concert was followed by a drum head service conducted by the Rev David Ely.
Readings were given by Steve Emery, Mrs Berry, Mrs Mattox, Dr Richard Hirson, Margaret Williams and Ann Desborough.
William Evans read the roll of honour while standards were presented by Ernest Tweed.
The event raised approximately £400 for the Poppy Appeal.
Mrs Berry said: “We were very pleased with the evening. It is something we have been looking for 18 months.
“The concert raised more money than we expected for the Poppy Appeal.”
