Anthony Curton School Nativity dress rehearsals

A star, angels and wise men filled the stage at the Anthony Curton School in Walpole St Peter this week for the annual Christmas productions of the nativity.

Reception children under the guidance of teacher Sue Bell performed the traditional nativity, while the children from Years 1 and 2 gave a modern take with a space nativity told from the Star’s perspective choreographed and organised by teachers Melissa Morgan and Emily Nickerson.

The older children’s story involved them travelling into space in a rocket and returning to Earth in time for Christmas on a Santa’s sleigh.

The 90 childrenthat make up reception Year 1 and Year 2 were split into different groups to perform over three days for proud parents, grandparents and carers.

The nativities are just part of a massive range of Christmas celebrations being held at the school and its partner school at Tilney All Saints in the lead up to the festive period.
