Visitors to Upwell Village Hall on Saturday got to try their hand at a version of a popular Winter Olympics sport.
New Age Curling follows the same principle as the Olympic sport but is not played on ice. Instead it can be played in the warmer environment of a hall.
The game was challenging for participants but everyone enjoyed taking part, even if it was a bit noisy. New Age Curling is suitable for all ages and abilities.
The taster was to gauge support for a curling club that will run from the hall on a Tuesday afternoon. Dee Harrison, one of the organisers, said they hopefully have enough people to set it up.
If anyone is interested in joining the curling club, contact Dee on 01945-773735.
