A tour of apple orchards and picking strawberries are among the attractions on offer for this year’s Open Farm Sunday.
The national event, which is held on Sunday, June 8, aims to celebrate farming and food.
Owners and staff at The Orchard Tea Room and Farm Shop in Redmoor Lane, Wisbech are supporting this year’s event.
Visitors will be able to see how apples are grown along with beautiful walks in the orchard and bird spotting.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm.
Manea School of Gardening is also getting behind Open Farm Sunday.
The farm boasts pigs, poultry, fruit, flowers and plants.
Activities on the day will include nature and treasure trails along with pond dipping.
There are also opportunities to make your own Sedum garden, candle and to pick strawberries.
A barbecue will run from noon.
Two farms in nearby Thorney will also be hosting events.
MHS Farms, in Sandpit Road, will be offering tractor and trailer rides.Pigeons Farm, in Wisbech Road, has also put on a range of events.
