Parson Drove bingo proves a winner for charity

Villagers and friends have raised £450 for the Alzheimers Society during a bingo.


Maureen Fyson, with help from Casey Bates and Helen Sanderson, put on the event in Parson Drove Village Hall.
The group handed over the proceeds to David Pearce on behalf of the charity.
Mrs Bates said: “It is a charity close to our hearts and we are over the moon to have raised so much.”
A bingo will be held on Thursday, August 14, at Parson Drove. Eyes down at 7.30pm.
Another will be held on September 4 to raise money for Scotty’s Little Soldiers. Eyes down at 7.30pm.
