Films on big screen

Chatteris Community Cinema has two films lined up for screenings on Saturday.

At 3pm “Turbo” will be shown, a film which is from the makers of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda.

Turbo is a high-velocity 3D comedy about a snail who dares to dream big – and fast.

Then at 7.30pm there is a chance to see 12 Years a Slave, which is based on an incredible true story of one man’s fight for survival and freedom. Set in pre-Civil War United States, Solomon Northup, a free black man, is abducted and sold into slavery. The film stars Brad Pitt.

The cinema asks anyone with a reserved seat who is unable to attend the screening to notify them so as many places as possible are filled.

Ticket prices: Children (under 16) £3, adults £4.

Contact: 07759 049619 for reservations or further information.
