Police appeal after teenage pedestrian struck by car in Wisbech

A teenage girl was injured after being struck by a car on Churchill Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened at about 6.45pm on Thursday, January 30.

The 17-year-old girl was hit by the Peugeot 107 on the pedestrian crossing close to North Cambs Hospital. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The car stopped at the scene and the driver was uninjured.
