A man with learning disabilities is devastated after his brand new bike was stolen.

Richard Stebbings was visiting his parents in Leverington when he left his bike in their front yard for ten minutes.

When he came out of the house on Gorefield Road to put his bike in the garage, it was gone.

Mum Pam said: “He cried and said to me that he was ‘gutted’. He idolised his bike. We said he could buy a new one after Christmas and took him to go and look at them. He had his heart set on this one from the word go.”

The bike was a blue Apollo Encounter. It was stolen approximately three weeks ago.

The Stebbings are offering a £50 reward for the return of the bike in good condition. Contact 07799-294587.
