Cambs County Council is about to invest more than £300,000 in improving two roads.
Work starts on October 12 on the A1123 at Haddenham. The road will be closed from 7am-6pm on both days, between the junctions with Station Road and Twentypence Road.
A signed diversion will be in operation with access to businesses and homes maintained throughout the £90,000 project.
A further £260,000 is also about to be spent resurfacing on the A142 Ireton’s Way at Chatteris. Work starts on October 14 and is expected to take around two weeks to complete.
The work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am with the road closed to traffic. Again a signed diversion route will be in operation and access maintained to homes and business premises.
