Little Explorers group at the Oasis Centre

Learning through play is the name of the game at the Little Explorers club in Wisbech.

The group for the under-5s, which runs from theWisbech South Children’s Centre next to the Oasis Centre, St Michael’s Avenue, every Tuesday offers youngsters and their parents a chance to enjoy a host of science-based activities aimed at helping development of various skills including speech.

Like all the activities run at the Children’s Centre, Little Explorers, is free and is open to parents and carers with children from birth up to school age.

Little Explorers is one of the more popular groups and the only requirement is for the youngsters to wear clothes that can get messy.

Messy play is an ideal way of allowing children to have fun while exploring the world around them and developing a knowledge and understanding in a creative and scientific way.

The group runs from 1.15pm to 2.45pm and includes healthy snacks.

There are a huge array of different groups at the Oasis Children’s Centre from a breast feeding support group, preparing for parenthood and baby massage.

For full details why not pick up a leaflet from the centre or contact 01945-481150 for more information on what’s on offer.
