Romance will be in the air at March Town Hall on Saturday February 15 for a special fundraising evening aimed at turning up the heat for a local church.
Doddington’s St Mary’s Parish Church desperately needs of a new heating system and it is expected to cost around £35,000. Some grant aid maybe available but supporters need to raise as much as possible towards the overall cost.
A series of fundraising events are planned and the Valentine Cabaret evening is the first of these. It will be a ‘cabaret’ style evening with refreshments and musical accompaniment by Mild Honey, a duo comprising Tom Harlock and Aimee Peart-Webb - and the Grove Singers a new choir put together by James Trundle. Tickets are £12.50 available from Sue Harlock on 01354-652549.
