• Beaver Lodge, Henson Road, March, garden open as part of National Gardens Scheme. Town garden with an oriental theme with ponds, pergolas, ferns and lots of bonsai, 10.30am-4pm both days.

• Dog agility competition, Coldham Playing Field proceeds to the upkeep of playing field and community building, 9am.

• Murrow autumn open vegetable and flower show, Murrow Village Hall. Exhibits accepted between 9am and 11.30am. Show opens 2pm with awards presented at 3pm. An auction will follow. Schedules from Mrs M Woollard on 01945 700673.

• Race night, Upwell Village Hall, doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Admission is £5 for adults, £3 for children, under 5’s free – this includes a ploughman’s supper. • The St Wendreda’s second Autumn Fayre. Come and support the church’s efforts to raise money for the heating fund. Refreshments in the hall, plus bacon butties, cakes and other goodies. Stalls, static displays, Tae Kwon Do displays, face painting and more. Classic cars, motorbikes and a vintage steam roller. In the church there will be an organist playing, plus displays of flowers and crafts. FACET will be showing what they can do. Anyone is welcome to do a display. All are welcome to contribute.
