The bill for a maintenance project at a community centre had been paid by masons.
The Wisbech Masonic Trust has given the Robert Hall Centre, in the town, £450 to pay for repairs.
Trust chairman David Bays said: “This is a very good community project and we are pleased to support it.”
The town’s Masons will be giving away a total of £6,000 to charities in the coming weeks and opening their hall to the public during the heritage open days in September.
