Sweet-toothed students took a break from their normal lessons to cook up hundreds of cupcakes at Wisbech Grammar School.
In the food section of the school’s annual house event, younger and older members of the Grammar’s four houses worked together to rustle up a tasty mountain of 384 cakes.
Students also turned their hands to making rockets during the event last week, along with finding hidden golden tickets in a geocoding exercise and came up with a dance routine.
The overall winners of the competition were members of Sparks house, who scored 2,300 points out of a possible 3,200, just ahead of Clarkson on 2228.
The best smaller group was Vermuyden, with 326 out of 400 points.
The school’s head of houses, Tim Chapman, said: “The house event was an ideal way to end the term, with a combination of good fun, team-building and education.”
