Woman left with serious injuries after A141 collision

THE A141 was closed for around an hour and a half this morning (Tuesday) following a two vehicle collision that left a car in a ditch and a woman with serious injuries.

The incident occurred at 7.30am between Chatteris and Warboys and the road junction at Huntingdown Road was closed at 8am.

A woman was cut from her car by firefighters and taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The road reopened at around 9.30am.
