Students and staff at the College of West Anglia bravely went under the hot wax to raise money for sick children.
The fundraiser on Monday saw around 35 students from uniformed services submit themselves to the hair and beauty department at the Wisbech campus.
But their pain was all for a good cause as they raised £157 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children and young people facing life-threatening conditions.
The leg wax was part of a week of fundraising by the department for the charity. Other events include stalls, games and a non-uniform day.
