DO you grow your own vegetables or make your own jam? Fancy sharing them with others like you? Then pop along to the Local Produce Day taking place at Guyhirn Village Hall next Saturday (August 25), 10am-2pm.
You’ll be able to buy, swap or sell all sorts of produce. Anything homegrown or homemade goes, including vegetables, plants, jams, cakes, seeds and wine. Don’t worry if you’ve got nothing to bring as there will be stalls from local growers, allotment holders and bakers offering their wares.
The event is being supported by Fenland District Council, which will also have a stall promoting ways to help the environment, including the efficient use of water in the garden and other energy savings.
For more details or to book a stall (there are still a few spaces available), call Terry Jennings on 01945-450814.
