Wisbech reader Adam Cooper sent us this photograph of the lunar eclipse taken near Rings End.

A rare combination of events in the early hours of Monday morning gave rise to the spectacle. A Supermoon, appearing seven per cent bigger because its orbit brought it closer to Earth than usual, was eclipsed, and the light was filtered through the Earth’s atmosphere, giving it a red colour.
