Children at Leverington Academy swapped their uniforms for fancy dress on Tuesday for a special day aimed at helping their creative writing.
The Magical Writing Day saw the youngsters dress-up as witches, magicians, princes and princesses and even a crocodile to help get them in the mood to write.
Headteacher Elaine Aldrich said inspiring children to write is always a high priority at Leverington Primary Academy, which is why the whole school was transformed into a magical world.
In the afternoon an assembly was where the children were able to celebrate their writing with each other and share their creative masterpieces.
