A MAN who collapsed in a King’s Lynn nightclub in the early hours of this morning (Friday) has been named locally as Richard Warden.
The 34-year-old, from the Wisbech area, was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at King’s Lynn from the town’s Chicago’s nightspot, but later died.
Police confirmed officers were called to the nightclub in Norfolk Street at around 12.35am to reports that a man had collapsed.
The cause of death is not yet ascertained, but it is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has been passed to the Norfolk Coroner.
The man has not been formally identified by police, but was named locally as Richard Warden.
