Halifax employee Lee Calton has raised almost £5,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

He finished in five hours, 24 minutes.

“It was an absolutely amazing experience,” he said. “I have never known a crowd like it. The 16 to 19 mile part was the hardest, but my family were waiting for me at mile 21 and that spurred me on.”

Lee, pictured with his wife Claire, is hoping to raise £5,000.
