A dog show, dancing and music are all on the agenda for a pet rescue charity’s fun day.

Ravenswood Pet Rescue has organised the event on Estover Field in March on Saturday, September 5, to raise funds to support its work in looking after unwanted pets.

Claire O’Dwyer, from Terrington Vets, will have the difficult job of judging the dog show, which starts at noon. The 13 categories include: cutest puppy, handsome dog along with best trick and treat catcher.

Entertainment will be provided during the day by the Irish Dance Academy, Jessica Halfacre , Abigail Lily Rose Miller along with the 20Twenty Choir.

Karate and acrobat displays will also be given during the day.

There will also be a host of stalls and activities, including penalty shoot outs, glitter tattoos and a space hopper track.

A car boot sale is also part of the event, which starts at 8am.
