The spirit of Christmas is alive and well at March’s The Cock Inn.

On Saturday, December 8, Santa’s Grotto opened to the public to spread festive cheer and raise money for good causes.

Representatives from local charities the Papworth Trust, Charlotte’s Way and EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospices) attended the opening and met Santa.

Each charity will receive a third of the proceeds from the grotto this year.

The grotto will be open from 5pm to 7pm on the following days:

Saturday, December 15

Sunday, December 16

Friday, December 21

Saturday, December 22

Sunday, December 23

Christmas Eve (December 24)

The cost is £3 per child which includes a photo with Santa and a Christmas treat.

This year’s grotto has been supported by Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Boyes, Thing Me Bobs, Adam Cox and John Cutteridge at Doddington Caravan’s and Storage (Mega Plants).
