Hard work has paid off for a dedicated pupil who is the first at March’s Neale Wade Academy to achieve a Gold Ambassador Award.
Year 8 pupil Ania Uribarri-Daniels has organised events, including 40 acts of kindness, raised money and supported struggling classmates.
Student Ambassador Awards were launched at the school in September 2013 and aims to encourage youngsters to participate in leadership, teamwork and extracurricular activities.
Ania was presented with her award by principal Jason Wing during an assembly.
He said Ania was a “fantastic role model for all students and a credit to the academy” and added that “none of us are born special, but we all have the capabilities to go through life and become special, Ania is proof of this.”
