Youngsters improved their maths during a trip to France.

Marshland High School took 50 pupils to Paris during October half term to study Mathematics outside of the classroom.

The Year 8 and 9 pupils visited Disneyland, climbed the Eiffel Tower, visited the Louvre museum, visited the Cite Des Sciences Museum, went on a tour around the Stade de France National stadium and went on a river cruise down the river Seine.

A school spokesman said: “The students were able to see the importance of Mathematics outside of the classroom and the children have come back to school this half term with a greater sense of enthusiasm in Maths lessons.”
