Youngsters who proved their maths skills in their own school joined together with others from the Marshland Cluster to take part in an exciting maths challenge held at Anthony Curton Primary School in Walpole St Peter.
Six schools sent teams to the event organised by Sally Webb, who previously taught maths at Marshland High School.
During the event children took part in a quiz and then constructed a pyramid-shaped box capable of holding a small sphere, with points
awarded in each category.
A nail biting tie-break saw the team from Marshland St James Primary announced as overall winners, with Anthony Curton Primary as the runners-up.
Other schools taking part were Walpole Highway Primary, West Walton Primary, Tilney All Saints Primary and Emneth Primary.
