Steve Barclay MP is urging residents of North East Cambridgeshire to share their thoughts on current debates and help him represent their views in parliament by filling in a new survey.
The parliamentary survey, which has already been sent to Residents in Chatteris will be expanded to cover constituents across North East Cambridgeshire over the coming months.
The questions cover a range of topics from Health Care to Education and Europe which are designed to help constituents engage with the work Steve (pictured) is doing and ensure he is focussing his parliamentary work on the issues that matter to them.
Mr. Barclay said: “I like to get in touch with my constituents and ask them what their priorities and concerns are in order to shape my work in parliament and the constituency.
“I regularly receive a variety of feedback through my surgeries, correspondence and website but there are still many people who do not use these channels that I would like to get in touch with to discuss their views and how I can continue to act on their behalf.
“The survey should only take a minute to fill out but is really important to the work I’m carrying out for the constituency- I want to ensure that residents have a say in the key decisions taken in Westminster which will directly affect them.
“I am really looking forward to hearing what people have to say and how they feel I could best represent them in Parliament and in North East Cambridgeshire. It would be great to get people talking about the issues that really matter and I would urge everyone to take a few moments to fill out the survey.”
The tick box survey takes about a minute to complete and can be filled in online at www.stevebarclay.net/survey .
