MURROW Book Cafe, a community library run by volunteers, is holding a giant book sale to clear out and make way for new stock.
This will be on September 10 from 11am to 2pm when fiction and non fiction books will be available, many from 20p.
Tea/coffee and homemade cakes will also be on sale. Everyone is welcome.
The book cafe is in the School Room on Murrow Bank (opposite the village hall). Usual opening hours are Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm and the second Saturday of each month from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
In addition to this, from Wednesday September 14 the group will be starting weekly Knitting for Charity sessions from 10.30am to noon.
As well as borrowing the books, the group are hoping people will come along and knit for charity.
The first sessions will concentrate on knitting simple baby blankets for SANDS. Please bring size 8 needles and white double knitting yarn with you. Beginners welcome there will be someone to help you if you want to learn.
