TALENTED pupils of Dorothy Morris took to the stage on Saturday for their annual Christmas Music Concert in aid of the Children’s Society.

The show, which took place at St Peter’s Junior School in Wisbech, raised £416 for the charity and saw the students showcase their talent to the gathered guests.

Mrs Morris said: “The concert went down very well. The guests said it was very enjoyable and had a varied programme.”

The performers ranged in age from six to adults and saw not only singers gracing the stage, but several instrument solos.

James and Catherine Missin performed violin solos and there were also piano trios to entertain the audience.

Vocal solos included Mrs Morris’ 78-year-old husband Gordon.

The show was made possible through the help of several local businesses who donated goods and equipment.

Wisbech Music Shop in Norfolk Street donated the use of the equipment and refreshments were provided by Margaret Hardy and Franks Butchers.

Refreshments were served by the ladies of the Children’s Society – Shirley, Anne, Faye and Gloria.
