The March branch of Norwich & Peterborough building society will be raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI).
The RNLI is the society’s charity of the year for 2013 and the March branch will be joining colleagues across the country in raising money.
Staff members will be holding fundraising events and also selling special RNLI items to raise money for the charity that saves lives at sea.
Claire Gledhill, N&P March branch manager said: “I am delighted that we have chosen the RNLI as our 2013 Charity of the Year. The RNLI‘s volunteer crews play a vital role in keeping our seas and beaches safe so I’m proud that we will be doing our bit in supporting them and giving something back to thank them for all their hard work.
“I hope our customers and members of the public in March will get behind us.”
