Wisbech Craft Centre has received its official opening by deputy mayor Mike Hill.
The centre, which is based in Alexandra House next to the Luxe Cinema, is an Aladdin’s cave of crafts and homemade goodies.
Over 60 crafters use the space to sell their products and owner Carol Thorpe said they are becoming very popular.
“If you come in to have a look, you will come back,” she said. “It’s really taking off.”
There are many different crafts on offer, including woodturning, jewellery, handbags, cards, ceramics, dollhouse miniatures and luxury bath items.
Popular at the moment are the Christmas tree decorations, where you can pick your chosen decoration straight from the tree in the shop.
The craft centre has also started teaching crafts to people who would like to learn hobbies such as crochet.
Carol also has plans to run craft fairs and similar events in the upstairs space of the shop next year.
The centre is open from 11am to 6pm every day except Wednesday, when it is closed, and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
