LOCAL Marie Curie volunteers will once again be holding a coffee morning in aid of the local Marie Curie Nurses.
The event is held twice a year in March and October and over the years they have raised thousands of pounds for the charity.
Marie Curie Cancer Care supporter and coffee morning organiser Bonnie Drewry said: “The event will be taking place at the Church Hall, Long Sutton (opposite the Co-op store) on Saturday October 29, 10am–noon.
Entry is only £1 and includes a coffee and biscuits. You can expect plenty of stalls selling tasty treats like cakes and preserves. There is also a ‘bring and buy’ stall and raffle – with lots of great prizes.”
Supporters will also have the opportunity to buy their Marie Curie Cancer Care Christmas Cards.
All money raised from the coffee morning goes towards the Lincolnshire Marie Curie Nursing Service.
If you have any items to donate, would like some further information or you are able to volunteer on the day then please contact Bonnie on 01945-420243.
