MARCH Town Bowls Club is holding an evening of reflection on Saturday (April 28) inviting past members and friends to come along to the club.
The club is holding the special “Evening of Past Memories” in the wake of the pavilion being burned down in November 2010 and subsequently being rebuilt.
There will be a DVD showing the building of the old pavilion and also the re-building of the new pavilion along with footage of the official opening last year.
This will be followed by a slide show of events relating to the club which go back almost 30 years.
Anyone wishing to attend should contact club secretary Alan Cross on 01354-652141.
Following on from this, on May 4 the club hosts a quiz night with a two-course meal. Teams of up to six people are welcome and the contact is Mr Cross.
Entrance fee is £8 per person which includes the meal with the evening starting at 6.45pm.
The club has two teams in the March and District Bowls Association League and also Fenland Police play on the town greens. The club officially opened the green on Sunday.
