Budding poets, writers and storytellers will be able to showcase their talents at a musuem.
The Wisbech and Fenland Museum will be throwing open its doors on Wednesday, September 17, for another great evening of performance.
Fen Speak gives emerging writers the opportunity to perform their poetry and stories on stage, in front of a small and appreciative audience. You’ll be able to test out your performance skills, make new friends and take part in Fenland’s only regular spoke word open mic night.
For those who enjoy listening to poetry, we can promise a fun and unusual night out, filled with fascinating stories and great performances, and a chance to listen in on those local tales you may not have heard before.
All ages and abilities are welcome to attend, and the team are always pleased to see new faces.
So, if you’d like to try something new, and listen to some great poetry from local writers – or even step up to the microphone and have a go yourself – come along.
Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm.
