CAN I say regarding the issue about the problems associated with the Eastern European community in Wisbech, the politicians caused this issue so let the politicians and the police sort it out, for the good of the wider community.
I also noticed Steve Barclay MP made no mention of this problem in the Citizen’s front page story (February 8). Head buried in sand is the term I would use.
The problem is not going away. A good start would be to stop allowing alcohol licences to food shops around the town. There is absolutely no need for it.
It is the cause of so much anti-social behaviour in the town. Magistrates take note, the Daily Mail was quite right in its report.
