Santa arrived early at Hinchingbrooke Hospital on Friday afternoon (December 20), when Cambridgeshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner delivered presents to children on Holly Ward.
Sir Graham Bright donned his Father Christmas costume to get children and adults alike in the Christmas spirit.
Sir Graham said: “The staff at Hinchingbrooke do a fantastic job throughout Christmas, looking after the children. It can be an emotional time of very mixed feelings for parents of children waiting for or recovering from operations or illness, so I wanted to help spread some Christmas cheer. It’s important that the children know that Santa makes sure he gets to everyone at Christmas, wherever they are. I hope my visit has brought a few smiles.”
Sir Graham distributed numerous presents to children and young people ranging from babies to teenagers.
