THE new building at Thomas Clarkson Community College in Wisbech was the setting for the civic reception of Fenland Council’s chairman Michael Humphrey.

Cllr Humphrey invited civic leaders and local business people to his reception and was pleased with the response.

He said: “I feel the event this year had some value because people could see something they don’t normally get to see. It was well-received and served a purpose.”

Cllr Humphrey received lots of positive comments about the new building, which was created as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme.
