Pupils add up for top performance

Pupils at March Neale-Wade Community College achieved three silvers and three bronzes in this year’s UK Maths Trust’s (UKMT) Senior Maths Challenge.

The school’s Robert Richardson won a Silver and also picked up the ‘Best in school’ certificate. Silvers also went to Serena Crawford and Russell Maguire. While Digby Chappell, Scott Hills and Christine Crawford all won Bronzes.

Also representing the school were: Brooke Bartram, Robyn Fisher and Abdul Ali.

The Senior Maths Challenge is run by the UK Mathematics Trust and aimed at those in Years 13 and below and is sat in schools.

Over 98,000 pupils from across the UK entered this year’s Senior Maths Challenge with the top 10% receiving a gold certificate, the next 20% silver and the next 30% bronze.
