Burglars made off with a large haul of goods in two suitcases after breaking into a home in Elm Low Road at Wisbech.

Intruders broke in through a window at the back of the property between 10am and 11.40am on Tuesday (June 25).

They ransacked the bungalow and loaded two of the victim’s suitcases with items.

These included two televisions, a music centre, sat nav, camera, two laptop computers, binoculars, several watches, jewellery and alcoholic drinks.

DC Dave Marsh said: “It is not yet known whether the burglars used a vehicle but they may have gone some distance carrying the suitcases. I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time to consider whether they saw anything suspicious.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Marsh on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
