Around 40 people gathered at March Neale-Wade Academy recently to celebrate turning 50 in the past year.
The party was a reunion for former pupils of the Neale-Wade who attended the school from 1976 to 1981 and who all turned 50 between September last year and last month.
The former students, many accompanied by their partners, enjoyed a three course meal provided by Housden’s caterers and also live music from a band.
In some cases it was the first time people had seen each other for over 30 years since leaving the Neale-Wade, so there was a lot of catching up to do.
A display of photographs provided by the former pupils helped those who attended, some from as far away as Canada, reminisce about the old school days.
In fact the evening proved such a hit there is talk of another reunion being held in the near future.
