This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Kinderley School (formerly known as Tydd St Giles School).

The school, which was opened in 1963 by famous athlete Sir Christopher Chataway, would like to invite anyone who was a pupil that year to come back and relive some memories of what the school was like compared to how it is now.

There are photographs taken at the opening of the school as well as many others and as part of the celebrations there will be an exhibition in the hall of these pictures and other memorabilia from 1963 until the present day.

The anniversary will be celebrated during Kinderley School’s annual Summer Fete on Friday (July 12) from 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome.

The fete will have a live band, BBQ and lots of stalls and games to keep everyone entertained.
