Road improvement survey

THE first phase of improvements to roads in Wisbech began this week with survey and site investigation work.

Between Monday (October 15) and Wednesday (October 24), a team will be working on the A141 between the Pease Hill roundabout and Hostmoor Avenue and from October 15 to November 1, they will move to the A1101 between Dowgate Road and Sandyland. The team will work between 9.30am to 3.30pm to reduce the impact on drivers, but some delays or disruptions are possible and drivers have been urged to allow extra time or to find an alternative route for their journey.

The survey and site investigation work is part of the preliminary design work for highways repair schemes which will be carried out in 2013.
