DARTFORD Road in March was closed earlier this afternoon (Tuesday) following a two-car collision.
A black Renault Megane and a blue Hyundai collided at around 12.15pm.
A fire crew from March, one from Chatteris and a rescue vehicle from Dogsthorpe attended and had to remove the roof from one car to rescue a man and woman.
Helimedix team Dr Hymers and volunteer paramedic Jo Lambert assessed the casualties and also the female driver from the other car, who sustained minor injuries.
All three patients were taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance.
The road reopened at 1.55pm.
