FOR the second year running, Wisbech-based Foster Property Maintenance and Housing Association Accent Nene pulled together to prove themselves to be a formidable winning team at Dragon Boat Race in Peterborough.
Their team of ‘Rocking up the River’ scooped three trophies and raised over £5,500 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. They won trophies for the Best Dressed Crew, finished first in the Mixed Crew race and for raising the most money for EACH.
Tim Drake, Contracts Manager for Foster Property Maintenance said: “The Dragon Boat Festival has become recognised at Foster Property Maintenance as a regular fun-filled way to be able to raise funds for a worthy cause and the interest just keeps growing, so we’re looking forward to next year already.”
Louise Johnson, Sales and Marketing Manager for Accent Nene, added: “We were determined to raise even more money than last year.”
