A children’s hospice is looking for Santas to take part in a fun run.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) are looking for people to take part in the 1.5km and 5km March Santa Run on Sunday, December 6, as part of the town’s Christmas market.

Runners will be dashing through the town centre, starting and finishing at Georges Bar and Restaurant, which has organised the run. The shorter fun run starts at 10.30am, with the 5km setting off at 11am.

Lucy Glover, EACH Cambridgeshire fundraiser, said: “We’re hoping as many runners as possible will choose to run in support of EACH, who care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions.”

Georges manager Nigel Marsh, said: “We’re hoping to make this the biggest and best Santa Run March has ever seen.”

Adult entry is £10 and includes a Santa suit, while entry for those aged 15 and under is £5 and includes an elf hat.
