THE Marriott Hotel in Huntingdon played host to more than 200 employees and partners of Sharman Quinney to recognise outstanding performances over the last year.
The estate agent, which operates 15 offices across this region, held its Top Achievers Event to acknowledge and reward staff for their successes over what has been a difficult 12 months for the property market. Among the winners were Simon Templer (Werrington) Top Branch Manager and Joint Top Valuers were Lewis Thorogood and Luke Pearce.
Managing director Mike Sharman said: “We have enjoyed a far better year than many and that is in no small way down to the hard work and resourcefulness of our people. However, it is right that we celebrate and reward exceptional effort such as that of our top mortgage consultant Christine Long; her level of success places her among the top consultants in the UK. Equally our leading administrator Karan Venter not only supports our busy Peterborough office but plays a far greater role in our on-going programme of IT development. Of course without excellent sales negotiators, estate agents don’t sell homes; our top sales negotiator Lisa Lloyd-Smith, based in Stanground, has had an incredible 12 months and has set a great example to many others.”
Mr Sharman concluded: “The scale and nature of this event demonstrates to our staff just how important they are to us and to the outside world, that Sharman Quinney is a serious employer in this part of the world.”
