So long, farewell

Mortar boards and gowns were the order the of the day at Manea pre-school on Friday for the annual graduation ceremony.

Twenty children enjoyed a special leavers’ ceremony with each being presented with a commemorative scroll and a Manea Pre-School Teddy bear.

Louise Woodwards, pre-school manager, presented each of the ‘graduates’ with the gifts.

The ceremony included the children singing a variety of songs including two about saying goodbye.

Each child then spoke about the things they have particularly enjoyed during their time at pre-school with many picking the sandpit and the colouring.

Afterwards the youngsters enjoyed party games and food before leaving pre-school for the last time, ready to start ‘big school’ in reception in September.
