DSI – Deadly Scene Investigation, an activity linked to the CBBC’s Live ‘n’ Deadly wildlife and adventure show will run on Sunday, October 2, giving children the opportunity to solve a wildlife crime scene while exploring the Wash looking for clues.
The reward for completing the activity is a special code, which will unlock exclusive content on the CBBC’s Live ‘n’ Deadly online game.
Deadly Scene Investigation will run from 11am until 3pm and participants will need to meet at the Wash National Nature Reserve by the East Lighthouse, near Sutton Bridge. Nearest postcode: PE12 9YT.
Natural England’s Community Outreach Adviser Sonia Reveley for the Wash National Nature Reserve said, “These events are a great opportunity to introduce young people to nature and get them outdoors, as well as giving us the opportunity to work in partnership with other organisations.”
There is a no charge per participant for the event and there is no need to book, just turn up anytime from 11am.
Arrive in plenty of time to give yourself time to solve the ‘crime scene’. Please contact Sonia Reveley on 01553-818503 or 07920-295237 for more details.
The event is designed to show children of all ages the beauty of the Wash. Deadly detective booklets and resources will be provided and children must be accompanied by an adult.
